Installation for onshore and offshore
The Evacuator™ is installed in a central position in the nacelle, or outdoors on the Helideck, in such a way that it is not interfering with any other main service interventions, but still easy and fast to reach during an emergency situation.
Independent evacuation
The reels are working independently. As shown in the illustration on the left below, the Evacuator™ yellow unit is installed in the center of the nacelle, and the two reels create two escape routes, one to the roof hatch and one to the bottom rear hatch. In case the team in the back is already evacuating and activating the reel to descent, the reel for the team on the roof is still inactive and does not have to start at the same time. The illustration on the right shows the plug&play outdoor installation on the helideck.

OFFSHORE INSTALLATION
First offshore tests are under construction. Illustrations below show our plug&play weather proof solution. The unit(s) are mounted on the helideck where they create a central location for evacuation. Each unit is able to descent 282kg per steel cable. In case more people need to be able to evacuate, more units can be mounted.

An impression of our first TEED at the wind farm of E-Connection in the Netherlands. Respecting the Covid19 regulations our team was able to invite several utilities and windfarm owners to the site of E-Connection where the participants were able to see the freshly installed evacuator™ in the E126 Nacelle. One-by-one they visited the nacelle, to ‘experience’ the ‘real’ installation and to get an impression of the complete installation. In the mean time, the other participants, were able to ‘feel&touch’ the Evacuator™ displayed on the ground. Next to a short introduction presentation (sponsored by the Evacuator™ company), our team provided them with all technical details of the functionality and the installation.
